Totes Beach Bound
Last weekend we spent the day at Alki Beach, along with half the population of Seattle it seemed! The beaches in Seattle, are nothing like tropical island beaches. You have to be prepared for anything and everything. You need two pairs of shoes - sandals for the sandy beach, and comfy flats to walk around the boardwalk and to hike it back to your car. You also need a swimsuit, for sun bathing (we'd never swim in the Puget Sound, it's way too cold!). A beach blanket or beach towel. Sunscreen. A light jacket for the evening. Oh, don't forget snacks and beverages as well! Plus whatever fun activites float your boat - volleyball, badmitton, board games, etc. Personally, we love bringing our bikes, rollerblades, and longboards for cruising up and down the beach. Whew, the list of things to bring could go on and on!
Thankfully, we had the largest tote bags known to man to pack everything into! Our Logan + Lenora oversized carryalls fit everything we needed for our beach day, and then some! Plus they just released a new collection of prints for the summer that are so colorful and fun. We'll definitely be using our bags for beach days and getaways all summer long!
