Nailed it! Our Favorite Non-Toxic Nail Products
Have you ever taken a look at the ingredients in nail polish? It can be full of some pretty toxic stuff, like formaldehyde. The good thing is, there are tons of brands out there ditching these chemicals. You’ll see brands using terms like “3 free,” “5 free,” or even “10 free.” This just means the brand is free from that many chemicals. The higher the number, the less toxic a nail polish will be.
There are tons of clean nail polish brands available online. However, we were surprised to see a great selection of non-toxic nail products available at Target!
Here’s a quick review of the brands we tried:
Ella + Mila
This brand has an extensive line of nail care products. All of which are vegan, cruelty free, made in the US, and free of the top 7 chemicals found in nail polish. We gave their top coat a try, it’s great for fast dry nails!
Ten Over Ten
This brand is also vegan and cruelty free, while being free of the top 8 chemicals in nail polish. We tried out their nail polishes and polish remover. The polishes are very pigmented, one coat was all we needed! The polish remover uses oils, instead of acetone to remove color. You have to rub a little longer to get rid of all your polish, but in the end your nails and cuticles are left feeling moisturized rather than dry!
